These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Searchee websites, search services, account services, and programmatic APIs (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

Programmatic API access is also subject to the API Terms of Use and the API Privacy Notice.

1) Eligibility and Account Responsibilities

  • You must use the Services in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account and API keys.
  • You must keep account credentials and API keys secure and confidential.
  • You must promptly notify us if you believe your account or keys were compromised.

2) Acceptable Use

You may use Searchee for lawful research, discovery, and application development purposes. You agree not to:

  • Abuse, disrupt, or degrade the Services.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems, data, or accounts.
  • Circumvent quotas, rate limits, billing controls, or access restrictions.
  • Use automated methods to perform denial-of-service behavior or large-scale scraping beyond your plan limits.
  • Use the Services to develop, distribute, or facilitate malware, fraud, phishing, or other harmful activity.
  • Infringe third-party rights, including privacy, copyright, or trademark rights.

3) API and Programmatic Access

  • API usage is governed by applicable plan limits, rate limits, and quota policies.
  • You are responsible for usage generated through your API keys.
  • Misuse, suspicious activity, or policy violations may result in key suspension or account restrictions.
  • Enterprise prepaid balances and subscription plans are governed by the published pricing and commercial terms.

4) Payments, Subscriptions, and Credits

  • Paid features may include recurring subscriptions and prepaid usage packages.
  • Pricing, plan features, and included limits may be updated from time to time.
  • Subscription renewals, cancellations, and billing events are handled according to your chosen payment method and provider policies.
  • Prepaid credits, where offered, are consumed by billable usage events and are not cash equivalents.

5) Intellectual Property

Searchee, its software, branding, and related content are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant ownership rights except for limited rights required to use the Services.

6) Service Availability and Changes

We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services at any time. We aim for reliability, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

7) Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Search results and generated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for specific decisions. You are responsible for independent verification where required.

8) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Searchee and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, or business arising from use of the Services.

9) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where there is a violation of these Terms, abuse of the Services, non-payment for paid plans, or legal/security necessity. You may stop using the Services at any time.

10) Governing Terms

These Terms are intended to be interpreted and enforced in a commercially reasonable manner under applicable law. If any provision is found unenforceable, remaining provisions continue in effect.
